Ingredient A:
250gm flour
250gm caster sugar
200gm ml evaporated milk
1 pkt instant coconut powder
10 eggs yolk
4 egg whites
1 1/2 tbsp ovelette- can be obtain from the supermarket or cake shop. a yellow paste.

Ingredient B:
300gm butter
green colouring
1 tsp pandanus essence
dessicated coconut (optional)

How to make Layered pandan cake

This cake has the coconut milk taste and very nice . Usually I make it for festival day only. You must have patient to make layered cake.

1.Cream ingredient A till thicken and leave aside. In another bowl , cream butter till pale. Add creamed butter to batter A. Divide into 3 portions , 1 portion add pandan essence and green colouring , The other 2 portions let it be plain.

2. Prepare a 8 1/2 " x 8 1/2" x 4" tin lied with grease paper. Add about 4 tbsp of plain batter into tin and spread evenly. Bake in the oven with the top heat only for 5 mins. Repeat layer twice , then now layer the green colour , only one layer and the plain one is 2 layers, repeat this process until finished.
3. The last layer use the bottom and top heat and bake till golden , cake must comes out clean to see if its cook. each layer takes 5 mins to bake.
