  • Minced pork - to your liking.
  • Shrimp - to your liking
  • Spring onions (1) - chopped
  • Garlic - chopped - to your liking
  • Dash of sea salt and white pepper
  • Broth - may use water
  • Soju - or cooking wine to marinate the pork
  • Corn starch -  thickening agent

How to make Tofu with Shrimp and Ground Pork

I borrowed the Egg tofu scallopini recipe from Melting Wok and made my own version of it.

Lucky for me, my wife cooked up her Odeng 오뎅 (fish cake) soup so I used that as base, minced pork and regular tofu instead of egg tofu.

  1. Cut the tofu into edible cubes and pat dray with paper towl
  2. Pan fry until golden brown on both sides then set aside
  3. Stir fry the shrimp in salt and pepper quickly and make sure not to over cook. Slight orange tint outside, raw inside.
  4. Stir fry the minced pork in salt and pepper until cooked and mix in the garlic at the end
  5. Add the shrimp and saute in broth
  6. Slowly stir in the corn starch mixture to thicken
  7. Mix with tofu and finish with spring onions
