Teriyaki Chicken Burger Recipe

Teriyaki Chicken Burger


  • 1 Chicken Drumstick or Breast, deboned


  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon wine
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce


  • 1 Bun, cut into 2
  • 2 Lettuce leaf
  • 1 slice Onion, Saute to slightly brown
  • A squeeze of Mayonnaise

How to make Teriyaki Chicken Burger

  1. Mix the marinade.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken and marinate for at least ½ hour.
  3. Dust chicken with corn flour and sauté in pan till lightly burnt. Pour away excess oil.
  4. Pour the remaining marinade for the chicken in the pan.
  5. Cook till the sauce thickens.
  6. Place chicken on lettuce and top it with onions and mayonnise, in-between bun.

Note: You can eat the Teriyaki Chicken with a bowl of rice instead as a burger!

    mmmh, mayo, love it. I miss Mos Burger rice burgers. Wish they'd start a franchise in Canada. Are they still popular in Asia?

    sgtoca, Yes, they are still popular. Well, at least I love going there instead of other fast-food joints.
