  • package small corn flour tortillas
  • oil
  • jar salsa verde
  • 2C grated white chedder or jack
  • shredded cooked chicken meat
  • 1C heavy sour or devonshire cream

How to make Enchiladas Verde

  1. preheat oven to 400F
  2. in a bowl mix salsa and cream
  3. rub oil onto both sides of tortillas, place one at a time into med-hot frypan and heat until softened. Set aside on plate under towel to keep warm. Repeat with all tortillas.
  4. place equal amounts of chicken in all tortillas, roll and place seam side down in an oblong baking pan.
  5. pour salsa mixture over enchiladas, top with shreaded cheese.
  6. place in 400F oven for about 15-20min.
