Nana's Spaghetti Bolognaise

For the bolognaise sauce:

1/2 head of celery, chopped corsely

1 large carrots, chopped corsely

1 large onions, chopped corsely

250g of beef mince

1 bottle of sugo cooking sauce (about 800g)

1 packet of dried spaghetti(500g)

1 tsp dried oregano

salt, pepper and sugar to taste

olive oil

a wineglass of red wine(optional)

parmesan cheese, shredded

How to make Nana's Spaghetti Bolognaise

  1. To soften the beef mince, mixed in some constrach with water, seasoned with salt and pepper. Leave it aside in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Pour in some olive oil on the heated fry pan and stir fry the onions until slightly golden brownish.
  3. Add in the celery and carrot and continue to stir fry on medium high fire for roughly 3 minutes.
  4. Gradually stir in the beef mince and increase to high fire for 5 minutes. Break up the beef mince with spatula to prevent forming into lumps.
  5. Pour in the whole bottle of the sugo cooking sauce, add the dried oregano, and salt and sugar to taste. Bring to boil and later turn to low heat and keep stirring occasionally. Pour in roughly a wineglass of red wine and stir again.Cook for about 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the dried spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dante.
  7. Drain the spaghetti and scoop over a large laddle of the ready spaghetti. Served if shredded parmesan cheese.
