Pasta with mussels and clams


  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • a bunch of fresh parsley
  • about a glass of olive oil
  • some chilli
  • 1 Kg of clams with shells
  • 1 Kg of mussels with shells
  • 1 jar of tomato or some fresh little tomatos
  • 1/2 glas of white wine

How to make Pasta with mussels and clams

Mince the garlics and the parsley while you prepare the clams and mussels. Put the clams and mussels into a saucepan (separately) turn on the fire and wait they open. IMPORTANT, when they are ready, remember to preserve the liquid they produced! Now take another saucepan and put in the olive oil (enough), the garlics, the parsley and the chilli, turn on the fire and wait 5 minutes, then put in the clams and mussels you have open and clean before. Wait other 5/10 minutes then add the tomato and some of the liquid you preserve before and the white wine. Continue the cooking and make attention the sauce would be more liquid then solid so add the clams/mussels's liquid if you need it until the cooking is over. Cook some pasta (spaghetti is right) and put it in the sauce when it is ready. Enjoy your meal! (and sorry for my bad english ;)
