Bul Go Gi Recipe

Bul Go Gi


  • 1/2 botol of korean bulgogi sauce
  • 1/2 lbs of thin slices beef
  • 1 stick carrot (thin slice)
  • 4 pcs medium fresh mushroom ( thin slice)
  • 1 small onion (thin slice)
  • 3 stick of spring onion (thin slice)
  • water
  • a little bit bean sprout
  • 1 tbsp vege oil

How to make Bul Go Gi

  • marinade beef with bulgogi sauce in refrigerator for a day.
  • Heat pan with oil, stir onion till soft add spring onion, mushroom and carrot.
  • Add the marinade beef, water. let it simmer.
  • cooked with low heat about 20 minutes.
  • put some bean sprout on serving dish,pour in bulgogi on top of sprouts.
  • ready to be serve with steam rice

    This is the best Bulgogi I have ever had! I lived in Korea for a year and never had a better bulgogi than this! I'm glad your my Wife... hehehe

    Is the "korean bulgogi sauce" the same as Gotchujang*? I have been searching for it all over, here in New England. I will probably just give in and order some online. Thanks for posting, this is one of my favorite dishes at a Korean restaurant near me. (and no, they do not sell the sauce, or offer where to buy it...) *That is one of the spellings I have seen, there seem to be many. Sorry.

    yes, my husband like this bulgogi so much.hmn, in colorado there's a bunch of bulgogi sauce. but the one that i buy in korean words. i don't know what it said. do u have email address , i can take the picture and send to you.

    @Shloggothdreams: Bulgogi sauce isn't the same as Gochuchang. Gochuchang is red pepper paste, and bulgogi sauce is like a Korean sweet BBQ sauce. You can always make your own, but if you want it quicker, go to an Asian grocer (I think even some Superwalmarts sell it). It's listed as Korean BBQ sauce. Hope this helps!
