Ingredients to be marinated:
1/2 chicken-cut into bite size
1 tbsp rendang powder
1 tsp salt

Ingredients to be blended fine:
1 large red onion
1/2 clove garlic
4 slices ginger
1 stalk lemon grass -sliced thinly
1 cup peeled tomatoes
10 dried red chillies-soak in hot water to soften
1 sprig curry leaves
4 candle nuts

1/2 pkt instant coconut milk
2 stalk lemon grass - crushed
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 lemon leaves
1 cup water
1 cup extra peel tomatoes

How to make spicy tomato chicken rendang

1. Heat 2 cups oil and deep fry the marinated chicken on high heat. brown chicken but not cook.
2. dish out to a bowl. Drain some of the oil and leave about 4 tbsp . Pour the blended ingredients and let simmer for 2 mins.
3 Then add the chicken back into the pan . Then add the last ingredients and simmer till almost dry but you have to stir every now and then so it will not stick to the bottom of the pan,
4. Serve .
