1 fish head -cleaned
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chilly powder

2 tbsp chopped red onion
1 tbs chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped red chilly
3 slices ginger -chopped
1 lemon grass
2 tbsp tamarind
2 cups water
4 small tomatoes-quartered
1 tbsp fish sauce

How to make Sour fish head soup

1. Rub fish with chilly powder and turmeric. Heat 4 tbsp oil and fry fish on both side for 1 min. Add chopped ingredients and stir . Add tamarind to water and extract juices, discard excess tamarind and pour the juice into fish. Add tomatoes and fish sauce and salt. Cook about 10 mins or fish eye turn white.
