1 pineapple-cut into cubes
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 chilly
1 red onion
1/2 " ginger
2 pips garlic
1  lemon grass-crush
1/4 cup tomato sauce
6 cherry tomatoes , cut in half
2 star anise
1" cinnamon stick
3 cardamons
3 cloves

How to make pineapple chutney

1. Pound the onion, garlic, ginger and chilly to a paste. Saute in hot oil  with lemon grass and spices till aroma.
2. Add pineapple , tomatoes and sauce and seasoning.
3. Cook till almost dry. Serve with rice.
