A:-mix well
300 gm flour
2 cups nestum cereal- grind finely

B:-Cream well
1 cup fine sugar
175gm butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

for the meringue:
3 egg whites
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp fine sugar
1 tsp lemon juice

For deco -coloured sugar beads

How to make nestum biscuit with meringue

1. Mix A into B and knead well. Roll out in between 2 sheets of plastic paper. Using a biscuit cutter and cut out cookies.
2. Place on greased tray and bake in preheated oven at 200 C for 15 mins.
3. For the meringue, whisk whites till fluffy, add sugar and cornflour , whisk again and add lemon juice , whisk .  Pipe on cookies and sprinkle coloured sugar beads .Return baking for 1 hour in very slow oven at 140 C till dry , just using the above heat or grill. Do not use bottom heat or it will burn the cookies.
4. Store in air tight container.
