IngredientsFor the choux pastry:
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
For custard filling:
50gm custard powder
100ml fresh milk
200ml fresh milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg yolk
How to make Custard puff
1, Put water, butter and salt to pan and bring to boil. Off heat.Mix flour and baking powder and add to water mixture and stir well till smooth.
2. Cool and add egg 1 at a time stirring each time till smooth. Put in piping bag with a star or large hole.
3. Pipe onto greased tray giving room to each puff.
4. Bake in preheated oven of 220 C for 20 mins and then reduce to 180 C and bake further 20 mins or until golden and dry.
5. make a small cut and fill with custard.
To make custard:
Mix ingredient A well. Bring milk to boil. Add mixture A slowly and stir till smooth,Then add butter and vanilla and stir again till well blend. Off the heat and stir in yolk, stir till smooth. Pipe custard into puff.
You can also add whipped cream , chocolate sauce , ice cream or anything you desire
