Grape Salad


  • 4 cups seedless red grapes
  • 4 cups seedless green grapes
  • 8 oz. sour cream (reg. or low-fat)
  • 8 oz. cream cheese (reg. or low fat)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ cup sugar (or splenda)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup brown sugar.

How to make Grape Salad

  1. Mix together sour cream, cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Mix together both types of grapes.
  3. Layer grapes in a serving bowl, then the sour cream mixture.  Keep alternating these layers, but end with a sour cream layer on top.
  4. Top the dish with the brown sugar and pecans mixed together.
Best if chilled overnight.

    Yes, I never thought about it but this would make for a great dessert served in smaller individual dishes.

    Yum!! It would be good with goat cheese too (maybe substitute one of the cheeses). I work with Chavrie and I'm always looking for new/unique ways to try out our cheeses!

    This was a hit at my Father's Day BBQ! I put the grape salad in half papayas and it was delicious!
