How to make Prawns Stir Fry Recipe

Here is a simple prawns recipe that takes less than ten minutes! We cooked it for the first time and loved the crunchy, fresh taste. Pak Choy or Chinese cabbage is easily available at most grocery stores and so are Shitake mushrooms. We used medium sized prawns, but I'm sure any size works. This could also work with most any meat or more vegetables like snow peas, asparagus and spring onions.

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add ginger, garlic and chillies
  3. When the chilli seeds start sputtering (usually takes a minute), add the mushrooms and Pak Choy. Cook for 3 minutes on a high flame.
  4. Add soy sauce.
  5. Add prawns. Cook for a further 30 seconds on a high flame.
You can't leave the kitchen while cooking this, so make sure you have some entertainment on the side. We found that some music worked perfectly well. It's all pretty snip, snip, snip, over before you know it!
