Salmon Cake Spinach Cream Soup


  • 1 Filet of Fresh Salmon with or without skin (up to you)
  • Spinach
  • 2 Tbl Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt & Pepper

How to make Salmon Cake Spinach Cream Soup

  1. Dice salmon into small chunks.
  2. Place salmon chunks into a bowl and add in 1 tablespoon of flour and the egg.  Add in a dash of salt and pepper.  To make things a little more exciting you can also add in some lemon zest. 
  3.  Boil water and cook the spinach.
  4. Then squeeze out all the water and if you want you can form little balls.
  5. Heat up some oil in a pan.  Use a large spoon and spoon some salmon mixture into the hot pan making small patties.
  6. Pan fry each side for about 2 minutes so that it stays adhere.
  7. Carefully place all the patties in a dish.
  8. In a seperate warmed pan, add about a tablespoon of flour.  Use a spoon and swirl the flour so that there are no clumps and turns into a fine powdery dust but make sure to not let it burn.
  9. Turn off the heat and add in the milk and chicken broth.  Make sure to stir well to prevent clumping.  Add some salt.
  10. Turn the heat back on to about medium.  Carefully add in the salmon pattites and spinach.  Slowly stir and top off with some cracked pepper.
