Simple miso soup.


  • Miso paste, about 3 tablespoons.
  • Dehydrated seaweed.
  • Green onions.
  • Medium firm smooth tofu, cut into cubes.
  • Water.

How to make Simple miso soup.

Simple, quick miso soup fix.

  1. Boil water in pot.
  2. Add miso paste in, adjust amount to your liking.
  3. Add dehydrated seaweed.
  4. Add tofu.
  5. Bring to a nice simmer.
  6. Add green onions and eat.

    traditionally you first add dashi stock (either the ones you buy) or make it (japanese anchovies or seaweed, or both) before adding the rest of the ingredients =] just thought you'd like to know, it gives a lighter taste from the saltiness of the miso and balances it out
