Apple bacon pie


  • 300grs of pate brisée _ 6 slices of canadian back bacon
  • 4 apples
  • 1 sweet potato ( not too small)
  • 100grs of crème fraîche
  • 10cl of milk
  • 1 egg
  • Pepper
  • 1 pinche of Muscade
  • 1 little pinch of salt ( the bacon is already salted enough)
  • 1 tea spoon of mapple sirup

How to make Apple bacon pie

  1. Peel and slice the apples and the sweet potato ( beware of apple seeds)

  2. Roll and spread the " pate brisée" and put it in a pie pan.

  3. Dispose the slices in round as one slice of apple/one slice of sweet potato.

  4. Put the slices of bacon on the disposal.

  5. In a bowl mix the creme fraîche, the egg, the milk, salt, pepper and muscade. And get a nice and homogen cream.

  6. Drop this cream in the pie pan and oven for 40-45 minutes.

*To served with a fresh green salad.

**Pre-heat the oven at 200°C
