1/2 Ginger Flower Petal 30ml Hakutsuru Sake 20ml Skyy Vodka 10ml Monin Pomegranate Syrup Large Ice Cube Ginger Flower Petals (Garnish) Pineapple Leaves (Garnish)

How to make Geisha Lovebite

  1. Chill a martini glass.

  2. Muddle half of a ginger flower petal in a mixing glass.

  3. Add rest of ingredients into mixing glass (except garnishes) and shake for 10 seconds.

  4. Double strain content from the shaker into a chilled martini glass.

  5. Garnish with ginger flower petals and pineapple leaves.

    what would you suggest to replace the sake?

    There's no exact replacement for sake, however if you have a nice Japanese shochu (Kanoka is a good one as it's got a smooth fruity character) or vodka at hand, that'll do the trick as well. The reason for the sake is that it has a distinctive sweetness and spicy note that goes well with the bouquet of the ginger flower. Cheers!
