These mini-burgers or BBQ chicken sliders are fabulous as an appetizer or a perfect meal for the kids! The adults with the biggest appetite can have 2 or 3 at a time - they are fun-sized and tasty!
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded chicken
- 1/4 cup barbeque sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 8 mini hamburger buns

- Preheat oven to 350 ˚F
- Place the hamburger buns on a cutting board. Do not separate them. With a knife slice the bread in half and place the bottom half on baking dish covered with parchment paper.
- Place the shredded chicken in a bowl and add the barbecue sauce. Mix well to combine everything.
- Place the chicken mixture on the bread in the baking dish. Add the chopped onion and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Place the other half of the hamburger bread on top.
- Place in the oven and cook for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and serve hot.
